Some of what's come through.
Repairs, restorations and the occasional one-off. Most weeks it's the kind of work that walks in on a trailer or a flatbed. But every so often something arrives that's a story in its own right. All shaped by the same hands.
The film cauldron.
A one-off, built to brief, finished for the screen. Hand-formed and welded throughout. The kind of project that arrives once a year and reminds the workshop what it's capable of when the brief opens up.
Triumph Bonneville tank.
Came in with a slow leak and three significant dents. Saved, sealed, brought back to chrome standard.
A museum propeller.
Restored from a piece nobody else would take on. Stripped, repaired, refinished to display standard.
Wrought-iron gate, matched.
Half of an original Victorian pair survived. We fabricated the missing half to match. Same hand, same hammer marks.
Sill repair, Land Rover.
Both sills rotted through. Cut back to clean steel, fabricated new sections, welded in, sealed and undersealed.
A Victorian birdcage.
Three generations in the family. Brought to us in pieces. Brought back as one.
Wedding candlestick holders.
A bespoke pair, hand-forged, designed with the couple. Shipped the morning of the ceremony.
Split-seam exhaust.
A 1970s classic with a length that's no longer made. Cut, dressed, welded, polished. Riding again.
A bracket, off a sketch.
Came in as a drawing on the back of an envelope. Left as a finished part the same week.
Railing run, restored.
Forty metres of Victorian railing along a private drive. Stripped, repaired, repainted to the original colour.
